☆ Grand Canyon, Arizona ☆

March 2014

Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona boasts the vast and awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, a geological marvel that displays millions of years of Earth's history through its distinctive layered bands of red rock. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration. While I previously visited the South Rim, on this occasion, we opted for a day trip to the West Rim, renting a car from Las Vegas for the adventure. On the way to West Rim, we stopped by Hoover Dam, which is a remarkable engineering marvel located on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona, spanning the Colorado River. The dam also created Lake Mead, one of the largest artificial reservoirs in the United States.
