December 2017

My wife and I enjoyed a brief holiday-season getaway to New Orleans. Known as the "Big Easy," the city offers non-stop nightlife, a lively live-music scene, and a unique, flavorful cuisine influenced by its extensive history as a fusion of French, African, and American cultures. The city is famous for its lively French Quarter, where visitors can experience the spirited atmosphere of Bourbon Street, historic architecture, and live jazz music. New Orleans is home to numerous cultural events, including Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest, which celebrate the city's music, parades, and diverse cultures. The city's blend of music, food, and festive traditions makes it an enticing destination for travelers seeking a lively and culturally rich experience in the Deep South.
