I embarked on a day trip to Himeji and Kobe, making the most of the 3-day pass for unlimited train and subway rides. Though a bit fatigued, I was thrilled to explore numerous landmarks in such a short span. Himeji is renowned for its breathtaking castle, often regarded as Japan's most stunning surviving feudal castle. Kobe, on the other hand, is celebrated for its world-famous marbled beef and picturesque location, nestled between the mountains that encircle the harbor. |
