Our next destination on the study trip to Brazil was Sao Paulo, the most populous city in the country, boasting a city population of approximately 11 million and nearly 20 million in its metropolitan area. I had the opportunity to explore Ibirapuera Park and immerse myself in several art museums during the day. At night, I ventured into the downtown area, visiting Liberdade, the Municipal Theatre of São Paulo, São Paulo Cathedral, and Mosteiro de São Bento. Despite considering myself street-smart, I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy.
