Leaving Brussels, we hopped on a train to Bruges for a day trip. This historic city center has earned its place on the UNESCO World Heritage list, recognized as an exceptional model of a medieval historic settlement. We leisurely strolled along the charming canals of this "Venice of the North," although the weather wasn't entirely cooperative, with sporadic rain throughout the day.
