Equipped with a 3-day rail pass, I boarded a morning train to Sasebo. There, I discovered Huis Ten Bosch, a captivating theme park that faithfully recreates a Dutch town. This expansive resort immerses visitors in a European ambiance, complete with scenic canals, iconic windmills, and exquisite gardens and architecture. While I explored, a street musician at the theme park serenaded me with the soothing notes of a song, and as if on cue, raindrops began to fall gently on my head.
