Our original plan included a two-day layover in Istanbul on our journey back home. However, just a few hours after our departure from Ataturk Airport, a devastating triple suicide bombing occurred, resulting in the tragic loss of 43 lives and leaving 239 others wounded. Despite this harrowing experience, we not only survived to share the account of the terrorist attack, but also had the opportunity to once again immerse ourselves in Istanbul's vibrant culture and rich history, cherishing the moments of our visit.
