The train ride from Poznan to Warsaw covered the distance in just under three hours. Contrary to the compact layout of an old market square, Poland's capital sprawls across a vast area, boasting a diverse range of architectural styles. Despite enduring near-total devastation at the conclusion of World War II, Warsaw's historic old town was painstakingly reconstructed to closely mirror its pre-war aesthetics.
