☆ Cusco and Machu Picchu, Peru

January 2019

On our journey to Machu Picchu, we spent several days in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of this region. For many travelers to Peru, a visit to Machu Picchu is the very essence of their trip. Nestled in a breathtaking location, this lost Inca city stands as one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites on the entire continent. During our stay, we indulged in the opportunity to savor Cuy, one of Peru's most renowned dishes. Cuy is a delicacy comprising fried or roasted guinea pig, offering a unique and authentic taste of Peruvian cuisine that adds to the culinary adventures of our journey.
