☆ Granada, Spain ☆

July 2022

Granada is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is celebrated for its magnificent medieval architecture, much of which hails from the Moorish era, most notably the Alhambra. This expansive hilltop fortress complex boasts royal palaces, tranquil courtyards, and shimmering pools dating back to the Nasrid dynasty. The Generalife gardens are replete with fountains and orchards. During my visit, I explored Sacromonte, which became the residence of the city's gypsy community following its recapture by the Catholic Monarchs.
