Established in 1733, Savannah holds the distinction of being the oldest city in Georgia. This charming city is often what comes to mind when people think of a quintessential southern town. During our visit, my wife and I were captivated by the grand old mansions, lush green parks adorned with fountains, massive moss-draped trees, and the cobblestone streets that grace the waterfront. The atmosphere was consistently relaxed, exuding the warm ambiance of a small southern town. |
