The high-speed train journey commenced in Kaohsiung, in the south, and whisked me away to Taipei in the north. It was an incredibly swift and comfortable ride. In Taipei, I explored several significant landmarks, including Longshan Temple, 2-28 Memorial Peace Park, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen by local bus, and Elephant Mountain by cable car.
