The second leg of my backpacking journey through China brought me to Shenzhen. While this city may not boast as many historical attractions as other renowned Chinese cities, it compensates with an array of outstanding theme parks designed to both entertain and educate visitors about China and the world. During my stay, I resided in a cruise ship hotel located in Shekou and had a wonderful time exploring the Window of the World theme park in Shenzhen.
