On our return journey, we had the opportunity to spend a few days in Istanbul, Turkey, during our layover. Istanbul's rich history as a world capital and its strategic location straddling Europe and Asia along the Silk Road have nurtured a remarkable tapestry of diverse cultures and beliefs. Nevertheless, two days proved to be insufficient to fully delve into and embrace the myriad cultures, religions, and ways of life that coexist in this fascinating city.
