The overnight cruise from Helsinki to Stockholm, while not quite like an ocean cruise, proved to be a comfortable and restful journey. Stockholm, often referred to as the "Venice of the North," is a city that sprawls across numerous islands and peninsulas where Lake Mälar meets the Baltic Sea. Despite the occasional rain, we enjoyed a leisurely walk through the historic old town of Stockholm.
