I embarked on an adventurous road trip from Morocco to Spain, utilizing a combination of trains, buses, and ferries during the scorching days of summer. Our journey commenced in Marrakesh, a city that once held the status of an imperial capital in western Morocco. A defining symbol of this city, visible from considerable distances, is the Moorish minaret gracing the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Eager to immerse myself in the city's rich culture and history, I explored a plethora of captivating sites, including El Badii-Ksibat Nhass Palace, the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the tranquil Menara Gardens, the resplendent Bahia Palace, the enchanting Jardin Majorelle, and the iconic Yves Saint Laurent Mansion. |
