On another day trip from Nuremberg, we had the pleasure of visiting Rothenburg ob der Tauber, widely regarded as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in all of Europe. Nestled along the picturesque Romantic Road that winds through southern Germany, Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a truly delightful destination. Our visit to the Medieval Crime Museum was equally captivating, as it housed an offbeat yet intriguing collection of historical torture tools, shedding light on the darker aspects of medieval times. This experience added a unique dimension to our journey through this enchanting town.
