Known as the "cultural capital" of Kosovo, Prizren became a pivotal stopover during my two-day journey from Pristina to Tirana. Prizren boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage that's hard to overlook. One of the city's must-see landmarks is the Prizren Fortress, locally known as Kaljaja, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city, which is both captivating and free. Another iconic gem in Prizren is the historic Stone Bridge, a symbol of the city's heritage and a site that truly embodies its cultural significance. Exploring these key attractions in Prizren allowed me to appreciate the depth of its history and charm.
